Are you curious about Beth Sar Shalom? This section will provide you with a comprehensive overview of our community.
Beth Sar Shalom (House of the Prince of Peace) is a community of Jews & Gentiles who are discovering the Jewish context of the Bible together, believing that Yeshua (Jesus) is the Messiah. Beth Sar Shalom serves as a meaningful home for Jew & Gentile believers who desire to worship the Messiah & fellowship together within a more culturally Jewish context.
Beth Sar Shalom emphasizes that Jesus is the fulfillment of Jewish prophecies found in the Hebrew Scriptures (Old Testament). We believe that through Jesus, they can find forgiveness of sins and reconciliation with God. This movement emphasizes the importance of the Torah (Jewish law) and seeks to live according to its teachings. We also celebrate Jewish holidays and incorporate Jewish customs into our worship.
Beth Sar Shalom meets every Saturday at 10:30am CST in the Freedom Church Auditorium in Carrollton Texas. Our worship is a unique blend of Jewish liturgy, traditions, and Christian worship practices. Prayers are recited in Hebrew, and the Shabbat (Sabbath) is observed.
Symbolism plays a significant role in Beth Sar Shalom. We incorporate traditional Jewish symbols such as the Star of David and the Menorah. Baptism is an essential ritual for believers, representing their commitment to follow Jesus. Additionally, we celebrate Christian sacraments like Communion, often referred to as the Lord's Supper.
As a community, Beth Sar Shalom is actively engaged in outreach and evangelism in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex. We seek to share our faith with both Jews and Gentiles, providing a unique perspective on the connection between Judaism and Christianity. Our desire is to bridge the gap between the two traditions and share the hope found in Jesus with all.
Beth Sar Shalom offers a distinctive perspective on faith, blending elements of Judaism and Christianity. We provide individuals of Jewish heritage an opportunity to celebrate their Jewish identity while embracing Jesus as the Messiah. With a strong emphasis on Jewish traditions and the teachings of the Torah, our community offers a rich and meaningful spiritual experience for its members.
